Christian Counsleing is an approach to therapy involving the use of both spiritual resources, such as Biblical text, and psychological understanding to aid in an individual’s healing and growth.
Some of the Theoretical Approaches used include:
- Attachment Theory
- Narrative Therapy
- Family Systems
- Solutions-Focused
Pastoral Care and Christian Counseling are meant to support and sustain individuals through the challenges of life that threaten to exhaust emotional and spiritual resources while acknowledging both our humanness and the Divine.
